Apex Printry faced mounting pressure to upgrade its aging fleet of 45 HP 9050 printers, which had reached end-of-life and were no longer meeting the demands of high-volume, secure cheque production. Their in-house software solution lacked the flexibility and speed needed to handle diverse print jobs efficiently, and compliance with Pakistan’s legal requirement for red bleed security features added further complexity to their operations.
The Solution
To modernize its cheque production operations, Apex Printry partnered with TROY to replace its aging fleet of 45 HP 9050 printers with 8 customized TROY AccurioPress MICR devices, all deployed in a single coordinated rollout. This upgrade was paired with a transition from Apex’s in-house software to TROYEdit, a faster and more flexible solution tailored for secure financial printing. Each AccurioPress printer was enhanced with the TROY IntegriCheck™ system, enabling advanced fraud prevention and document integrity features.
