TROY warrants your Security Printing Solutions product against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, TROY will repair or replace products that prove to be defective. Extensions/upgrades to your warranty are available through TROY.
The warranty on your TROY Security Printing Solutions product shall not apply to defects or damage resulting from any of the following conditions:
. Improper site preparation or inadequate maintenance by the customer
. Customer supplied software, software integration or cabling
. Unauthorized modification or misuse
. Operation outside of the environmental specifications for the product
. Operation using non-supported printing media
. Operation from a mechanical switchbox without a surge protector
. Use of non-TROY or non-HP toner cartridges*
*To maintain this warranty, use only genuine TROY Security toner cartridges. If you use non-Security Toner in your TROY security Printing Solutions, TROY's warranty extends only to the use of genuine Hewlett-Packard toner and toner cartridges. If a TROY Security Printing Solutions product failure and or damage results from the use of non-TROY approved toner cartridge, the warranty is null and void.
Operation of the printer beyond the limit of its rated duty cycle and or failure to perform the required preventive maintenance shall be deemed printer abuse, rendering this warranty null and void. When printer abuse is noted, repairs thereafter will be billed on a time and materials basis.
