| TROY SecureRx Prescription Printer |
SecureRx Printers are prescription printers based on HP LaserJet printers have been specifically designed to bring healthcare facilities into full compliance with new Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) prescription printing regulations in a trouble-free, cost effective way. The prescription printer integrates seamlessly into existing EMR systems and can be used for both secure prescription printing and non-secure print jobs, eliminating the need for multiple office printers.
TROY SecureRx, a prescription printer equipped with security software and hardware, meets all three of the regulation guidelines bringing healthcare facilities into full compliance with CMS regulations. It prevents unauthorized copying, modification, and counterfeiting of prescriptions, while virtually eliminating the burden on your staff and reducing printing costs.
Hospitals throughout the United States are beginning to implement the prescription printers to reduce the number of calls between pharmacy and caregiver associated with illegible handwriting; save time and simply workflows printing prescriptions, referrals and condition information on the same printer; and eliminate the expense and hassle of purchasing, tracking and taking inventory or pre-printer paper. TROY SecureRx also allows for easy integration, cost savings, and a quick return on investment.
Rockingham Memorial Hospital (RMH) currently utilizes the TROY SecureRx Solution in their Emergency Department, which has helped to reduce supply cost and eliminate service calls. Many area pharmacies have complimented the new format and easy-to-evaluate security features, according to RMH Pharmacy Coordinator of Informatics and Technology. RMH will be expanding their use of SecureRx to other areas of the hospital. Full Case Study is Available: Rockingham Memorial Hospital Uses TROY SecureRx to Achieve Cost Effective CMS Compliance. |
